Features of the mv_Menu

Below you can find a list of the features and advantages of the mv_Menu class. This custom class can be used in all 32 bit dbase versions. Please read the Tutorial to find out how to use it.

Features:

-- The mv_menu can be used in any MDI-Form.
-- The look-and-feel is similar to the modern menus of the Office-package or the Ribbon-style.
-- You can choose if and where the menu can be docked to the form.
-- The items are native dbase objects.
-- They follow the rules of object orientation.
-- You can build your own cusom classes based on the mv_Menu.
-- It is very easy to assign icons to the different menu-items.
-- Each item can have a checkmark, it can be enabled or disabled or made totally invisible.

-- Part of the mv_menu is a modern toolbar, with some enhancements over the stock toolbar
-- the toolbuttons can have icons with a size different than 16x16 pixels
-- the toolbar can be bound to every form
-- It can contain toolbar-comboboxes and toolbar-split-buttons.

Version 1.07 (13-04-2007) : - added property : attach_to_framewin = true/false

Version 1.06 (11-04-2007) : - fixed a circular reference, that prevented the menu to release itself properly.

Version 1.22 (11-10-2007) : - added properties to the mv_menu and the mv_toolbar becomes part of the package
