The mv_Menu Class now with mv_Toolbar The mv_Menu is a custom control that can replace the dbase stock menu. It is easy to use and has
a lot of advantages over the original control. For a complete list of features, see :
Featurelist The working horse of the control is an activex object, that takes care of all the internal drawing, positioning and functionality.
If you want to use icons with the menu-items, the control will handle that for you too. The best of all :
you instantiate and use this control exactly like a normal dbase control. You can assign a function to the onclick-event of each item or
make the item disabled or invisible and it is a native dbase object, you could add properties and methods to your convenience. Part of the mv_menu is the mv_toolbar control, it acts like the native dbase toolbar but has some major enhancements (it has a more modern look and feel, you van use icons of any size, you can use a combobox and a split button in the toolbar) Take a look a the tutorial, to find out how easy it is to use this component : mv_Menu-Tutorial Ein besonderer Dank an René Debrunner, der einen Großteil des Tutorials ins Deutsche übersetzt hat : If you want to test a Demo-Version, please Contact me directly
Licensing
The license is granted on a "per developper" base. You can use it on your work-pc on your laptop and on any other computer as long as it is used by one developer at a time. You can deploy the control embedded into your application without further charges. The license contains a one year upgrade period. During this period, all bugfixes, improvements and upgrades can be downloaded free of charge. After this period you may renew the update-license at the cost of 20,- Euro per year (of course, the component will continue to work without renewal). | ||||||||
